My Dear LORD, My Father, My Jesus, and Giver of Glory,
Give glory to Your name for the sake of Your steadfast love and faithfulness! (Ps.115:1)
So often I behave as if I will be “younger” forever, and that, not in the best way. Pride is not pretty, but natural in me. You are merciful to me time after time. Keep working in me because my greatest desire is to please You.
Help me to show more honor for others than myself. Help me to see the person they were created to be, even if they do not see it yet. Help me to encourage their walk in that direction. Help me to be merciful and gracious as You are with me. May Your way of compassion and meekness be in my heart and on my lips.
