I desire mercy NOT sacrifice.” - Jesus Christ, Matthew 12 — What an amazing statement from our Lord and Savior! I can wrap my head around sacrifice because it usually yields something in return, but mercy doesn’t. Mercy is freely given with no expectation of return. Lord, help me to learn this and give mercy freely this day and this week!
