Prayer Helps Us Stay Connected
Do you pray for the people in your life? I mean REGULARLY, even with they haven’t given you a specific prayer request? Yesterday as I was praying, God brought many of my families and friends to my heart. Some of them are struggling with some specific challenges right now, some of them are far away and I hadn’t spoken with them in months or years but yet I felt the Spirit calling me to lift them up and to pray for some specific things for them. I sent messages to some of them just saying, “Hey God brought you to mind and here’s what he had pray for you.” Its pretty amazing to hear back and see how the Lord was meeting there need through our connection and how He was strengthening the bonds of our relationships because of it.
If you haven’t in a while, sit down with God and ask him to bring people to mind that need prayer, then write it down, send them notes, and let the Spirit connect your heart with theirs in a way that is truly unique!
